The Verge’s Rajal Maharaj line on older cards: focus is 50-series; after 50 is “in a good place,” they look at 40-series—“one step at a time.” That is not an RTX 30/20 promise.
Also from The Verge: for players, official DLSS 5 stays an on/off toggle; granular structure/tone/masking controls stay developer tools (games may expose subsets later).

How to read the Korean poten title
FMKorea’s 4천번대 공식 지원 확정 is accurate as “NVIDIA said they will expand official support to RTX 40 after 50-series tuning.” Comments (“4070 Ti resurrection,” “when 30?”) often jump to shipped driver next week or 30-series too—that last part is not in NVIDIA’s text.
Community Swapper/Manager installs are still third-party, not the official Ada path.

I own a 4090. When do I get it?
No date. Sequence in NVIDIA’s words: fall 50-series model updates → then expand official 40-series support.
Is the FMKorea “확정” post wrong?
The plan is confirmed. Treating it as already shipping on every 40-series card today would be wrong.
Should I keep using Manager/Swapper?
Single-player only, GitHub-only binaries, anti-cheat risk. Official Ada path is what this article is about.
